Bespoke registers

As well as the stock items featured on our online shop, specially produced registers are supplied to many authorities to form an interesting and historic record for all time.

Books are available in standard rulings and binding, but alternative styles can be produced in accordance with individual requirements. Examples of the most popular types are reproduced below and on the Binding page of this website.

The title page, when emblazoned with armorial bearings or other symbols, can in itself be a work of art which greatly enhances the overall appearance of the book.

As well as being used as visitors books, these volumes can also be used as memorial books, lists of donors, etc.

Books can be gold blocked with armorial bearings, badges, authorities' names or other wording and slip cases in leather can also be supplied as protective containers.

Records of citizenship ceremonies

Make your Council's citizenship ceremonies something really special by using our Record of Citizenship Ceremonies. Visitors books

Councils and places of interest often like to make a record of visitors to the premises. Perfect for this purpose, Shaw's de luxe Regal Register and Record Books are renowned for the high quality of their traditional construction. These volumes are bound in exquisite blue Moroccan leather in a traditional design featuring gold gilded pages. The cover is hand tooled in gold with a classic decorative detail.

Listed below are our three Visitors Books formats, varying in style through their inside page layout. Title pages of all styles of Visitors Books can be emblazoned with armorial bearings or other symbols to greatly enhance the overall appearance of the volume. The face of all our books can be gold blocked with armorial bearings, badges, authorities' names or other wording, as required.

Baptismal Register

A springback ledger style in register in burgundy leather, marbled coloured jointed end papers, and speckled edge to the papers.

Ecclesiastical Registers

Spring back style ledger Ecclesiastical Minute Book, Ecclesiastical Account Book and Register of Graves. All half bound in two different shades of red leather with label to face, gold blocked, tooling to spine with marble end papers.

Register of Cremations

Bespoke Register of Cremations for a Local Authority. Full bound springback ledger style in dark green bookcloth with green marbled jointed end papers and a speckle to the page edge. Gold blocking to the front.

Autopsy Register

Spring back autopsy register in black bookcloth with gold blocking to the front. Features plain jointed end papers and a speckle to the page edges.

Citizenship Register
