Shaw’s consolidate their traditional business
The transfer of Shaw’s book publishing interests to Sweet & Maxwell and Shaw’s Forms on Disk electronic forms business to IRIS Software Group reflect a policy decision to concentrate on our traditional core product areas, plus our ever-increasing election supplies business. A new emphasis is being placed on making 260 years of experience available to help meet the requirements of the legal and local government sectors in particular. Nevertheless, we are aware that many of our products and services are applicable to a wider range of users and we welcome enquiries for both stock and bespoke items from anyone and anywhere!
The Election's over – now we're preparing for the next one (or referendum)
Shaw’s are proud to have supplied the majority of local authorities with their products for the 2010 general and local government elections. There is no time for rest, however, and we are already stocking up for any possible repeat general election or, as seems likely, a national referendum. The latter event would be the first since 1975 and Shaw’s are aware that their expertise will be in great demand at such a time.
Notwithstanding the above, there are a large number of elections already set for 2011 and Shaw’s have all the necessary items available for these already.
