Important Information - Law
Society TA Forms
The Law Society Home Information Pack (No.2)
Regulations 2007 came into force on 1st August for certain types of
property. The existing TransAction forms, Prop 1, Prop 3, Prop 4, Prop
6, Prop 7 and Prop 8 should not be used after 31st October 2007.
TA1-TA15 are now available for purchase from Shaw’s.
TA1, TA2, TA3, TA4, TA5, TA14 and TA15 are forms that are required to
be included in a home information pack.
TA6, TA7, TA8, TA9, TA10, TA11, TA12 and TA13 are not
compulsory but can be included in a home information pack.
Unless TA1-TA15 have already been completed
on behalf of a client, solicitors and licensed conveyancers must not
include TA1-15 in a Home Information pack other than The Law Society’s
branded one.

Important Information
LASTING POWER OF ATTORNEY
New forms effective from 1st October 2007
The existing forms to make an Enduring Power of Attorney,
S2 and S2X (continuation sheet), can no longer be used from the above
date. Submissions made for registration after this date using the old
forms will need to be made using an update to the existing form EP2, now
reissued as EP2PG. You may wish to use the new form EP1PG now to notify
the OPG* that you will submitting an Enduring Power of Attorney form at
a later date to avoid any confusion with them.
