The Probation Bulletin remains the main vehicle for professional recruitment within the Probation Service, carrying details of virtually all available posts; however, the Probation Bulletin may also be used to make any other announcements and to advertise services or products of interest to members and potential members of the Probation Service.

It is published fortnightly throughout the year and distributed free of charge to every team of Probation Officers, every probation training institution and all prisons in the U.K. In addition, it is sent on request to anyone seeking employment in the Probation Service. We also have a dedicated website that carries the text of each issue of the Bulletin. This online service is easy to use and absolutely free of charge.

Advertising rates are extremely modest - a full page is £470 and a half page is £370. There is a 10% discount available if we receive a booking and your copy/artwork before Midday on the Tuesday preceding publication. Further discounts are also available for series of entries. 

The Probation Bulletin closes for press at 11.00am on the Wednesday preceding publication and copies are mailed on the Friday to arrive on desks Monday morning.
