Revisions to the Declaration of Acceptance of Office Form and Register

Following the coming into force of relevant provisions of the Localism Act 2011, the Local Elections (Declaration of Acceptance of Office) Order 2012 (S.I. 2012 No. 1465) has prescribed a new form for the declaration of acceptance of office.

As a result, the current style of Declaration will not be usable after 9th July 2012.
Accordingly, Shaw’s have produced the following revised products:

• LE40 (Declaration of acceptance of office by chairman or councillor). Paper form sold in packs of 25. 
• LE40/2 (Declaration of acceptance of office). Full-bound A4 format book comprising four-letter cut-through index at the front followed by 200 pages of the LE40 form. Book provides for 200 entries. Gold-blocked to face.
